Connecting a car stereo to an amplifier

Dear Guru,

I would like to connect my car stereo (Kenwood KDC-W4044U) to amplifier (Toxic TX-1100) and then to 4 speakers.
This car stereo has 4 output for speakers as well as one RCA Rear output/ Sub Woofer output. The amplifier has 2 RCA inputs and 4 out put for speakers.

Thank you.

You have to connect your 4 speakers to 4 speakers output direct to your car stereo no need of amplifier to 4 speaker but speakers should be small not like a woofer, and you have to connect your sub woofer by using amplifier don't connect direct. connect the output of your car stereo (using 2 RCA) to the 2 RCA inputs of amplifier. If u connect your 4 speakers to your amplifier then your car stereo does not support Left Right channel.
You can also connect your laptop or iPod direct to your amplifier.
Good Luck
enjoy music

I have a Kenwood KDC-MP435U radio in my car and when ever I turn in up kinda loud it will shut off and come back on on its own. Any idea why this is or how I can fix it?

The wattage of the speaker is higher than the required wattage of the stereo. The stereo cannot drive the speaker very well. Use an amplifier if you want to have a loud sounds. Or if you already have sound set-up make sure that you have a capacitor for your amplifiers and fuses to support the power input to your stereo.

Hi my brother in law installed my kenwood kdc-w4044u stereo into my 1999 vw golf.... works ok but when i remove the keys the memory goes... can you help

the yellow wire needs to go to a constant power source. the yellow wire controls the memory and needs to have power going to it when the key is turned off.

I need unlock code for my kdc-mp2035 kenwood stereo

Unfortunately Kenwood codes are only available from the Main Dealer or by using a Radio Decoding Service who will connect a laptop to read the working code inside your radio`s memory chip (EEPROM)

No Sound - boat stereo

Assuming that the four speakers are connected to the amplifier, then the amp is the most likely problem component. Does the amplifier show a power light when the system is turned on? Note that there is probably another fuse in the amplifier power wire, near the battery.
