Easy. All you have to do is to make sure that the DVD player is old the older types that have RCA connectors at the back of the DVD. Latest DVD may have RCA connections but I am not sure if it can send digital signal directly to the analog TV. Try this and see what happens. if your TV is old and does not have Component Video (Red/Green/Blue) RCA sockets (input) but has standard Pal/NTSC sockets (Yellow/Red/Black) hook up the yellow, red and black plugs into a DVD (out) RCA sockets of same colour, then hook up the other end of the cable in the (in) RCA sockets at the rear of the TV.
If it works, then all is well. If it doesn't work, then you have to hook up the cable from the DVD to the (input) RCA sockets of a Set Top Box, so that the Set Top Box will convert the signals for the analog TV. Just pay attention to the inputs and outputs at the rear of them.
On your DVD - plug the RCA cable to the (OUTPUT) RCA sockets. On the Set Top Box - plug the connectors in the (IN) RCA sockets and then use another cable connected to the OUT RCA's of the Set Top Box, then connect the other connectors to the (IN) of the TV RCA sockets. Hopefully you get the picture on what I mean.

The most common caused of "No color" fault when viewing movies through DVD player are :
1. Wrong TV/DVD format - If your TV is a NTSC system format and not knowingly your DVD player is set to PAL/Secam system format, then there's no color generated to your TV due to incorrect video frequency signal coming from the DVD player.
Solution : You have to sync/match the system format of the TV and DVD player. Check first the system format of the DVD player through the menu. Try to change it from PAL/Secam to NTSC.
2. Wrong hooked up - Since the problem is in video, you have to check the video hooked to your TV and DVD player. HDMI jack is the best option to avoid wrong hooked up because it come with Audio and Video in just one cable. If you are using one RCA cable to connect the video, make sure that it is hooked up to Video in of the TV and Video out of the DVD player, it is usually color yellow RCA jack. If you are using the component video hooked up, you must have 3 RCA cable for video alone. It is color coded as green(Y), blue(Pb/Cb), and red(Pr/Cr) RCA jack.

My advice is to check first the system format and then the video hooked up.

If you are going to hook up the DVD player to your TV through RCA cords, see the picture below.





Hook up the yellow RCA cord at the Video-in at the back of the TV and the other end at the Video out of the DVD player to get the video.

Hook up the red RCA cord at the Audio-in(right channel) at the back of the TV and the other end at the Audio-out of the DVD player.
Hook up the white/black RCA cord at the Audio-in(left channel) at the back of the TV and the other end at the Audio-out of the DVD player.

Red and white/black RCA cord is for the sound.

There are a few possible reasons, the first being that the tube has burned out inside the TV. But before jumping to that conclusion I would check to make sure that your A/V cables are connected properly (video being the yellow cable, or if you may be using S-video which is a black cable that has 4 steel pins and 1 horizontal black plastic or metal one) and make sure that you have the cables plugged into the same numbered input: ie. Audio is in audio 1 and video is in video 1 rather than audio being in audio 1 and video being in video 2.
Also be sure that you've selected the right input from the remote or from the television itself.

please re chech ur input cables

removed cable at the back of your TV insert any pin metal material like paperlip without the plastic cover and search local channels from 1-13,, if it does,, contact your cable provider.. it may had cable line problems.

If you have the original remote (RCA Universal with red and blue buttons), you can switch from the TV tuner to the audio/video input with the INPUT button. It is to the left of zero on the numeric keypad, above the red CLEAR button. Press it again to get back to the TV tuner.
