My Sanyo SR-4433S does not seem to be cooling. It was getting super cold, so we turned it down. Then all the frost melted and now it won't cool down anymore. There was ice solidly around a thin tube in the back of the refrigerator. It sounds like it is on, but it's not cooling down. Any suggestions?

There is a sensor wire in the vicinity of the ice-box... If you've forcible removed the ice build up... you may well have damaged this and hence the thermostatic wire will need replacing.
Hello,If the refrigerator is not getting cold, you need to answer some question. 1. check if the compressor is running. 2. Is the thermostat knob turn to the proper setting?if not reset it. then see if the compressor motor is running. The compressor is a football-sized case with no apparent moving parts,it's on the outside of the refrigerator at the back near the bottom. If it is humming or making a continuous noise and your refrigerator is still not cooling, there may be a more serious problem with one or more of these components. 1. The compressor 2. Thermostat 3. The overload, relay, or Capacitor 4. The defrost timer 5. The condenser fan motor. Thanks
Hi, do you still have the parts? I just got a SR-4433S and I think it's missing some of the basic interior stuff like the crisper drawer, etc. I'll figure out all of what I need if you email me back and still have it: [email protected]
if the rattle is coming from your compressor it would cost more to fix than the fridge is worth i'm sure. the compressor is the only moving part on the unit. the only other component is the thermostat. which you can bypass to see if it cools.
