Hi,

The GE Oven F7 error is caused by poor contact on the flex circuit that connects the keypad.

To fix it, turn off the power and pull the oven out a couple of inches for access.
Remove the 3 hex head screws under the control panel and lift the panel off.
Find the connector where the flex circuit connects to the main oven control. Snap it open and remove the flex circuit.
Clean the flex circuit contacts with electrical contact cleaner and a pencil eraser.
Put it all back together and the F7 should go away.

Unfortunately, this is not a permanent fix, and it will probably recur in another 6-12 months

Leave the ribbon unplugged and see if the code returns if it does not replace the touch panel if it does replace the control

Please leave me comment, if you need further assistance

How to change the door switch

Hello.

Some Washer ranges are equipped with electronic displays that indicate the time of day and the oven's temperature when it's in use. The display also alerts users to error codes including PF, or power failure, and various letter and number combinations that correspond to issues ranging from electronic control malfunctions to problems with the oven door latch.

F2 Faults

Washer F2 faults relate to temperature problems in the oven. In the case of the error E2-F3, F2 is the general fault code and E2 is the specific error code. An E0-F2 error indicates that the oven's temperature sensor is open; E1-F2, that the temperature sensor is shorted; E2-F3, that the oven temperature has exceeded the maximum rated 575 degrees Fahrenheit in "Cook" mode; and E2-F3, that the oven temperature has exceeded the maximum rated 950 degrees Fahrenheit in "Clean" mode.

Clear Error Code

If your oven display shows a letter/number combination, washer advises clearing the display. Press "UPPER OFF" or "LOWER OFF" on double oven models. On single oven models, press "OFF/CANCEL" to clear the display. If the code reappears, the manufacturer recommends contacting a professional service technician or contacting the Washer producer

Professional Service

The Tech Sheet included with Whirlpool ovens is meant for use by professional technicians servicing the unit. To address an E2 F3 error, a technician can check the oven's temperature sensor connection, measure the sensor's resistance and, if necessary, replace the sensor.

Thanks.

Error 08 on my hotpoint ovan workes for a bit then goes off and sayes error 0 8

HELLO.

The code displayed on the oven indicate that the oven has detected an error from the source of power control (panel).

This problem can be as a result of over flow of water or liquid substance on control unit,
or when there is over flow of power supply on the oven.

when the door of the oven is not properly close etc these can be as a result of the error code displayed on the screen of the oven.
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM OF THE CODE DISPLAYED ON THE OVEN,
is to off and unplugged the oven from power supply for something then plug it and allow it to load on power on it's own before any form of operating then push the reset button if any.

With this the problem of the code will be solve

If there is a need for further help get back to me with your comment.

THANKS.

F24 error code

Hello there
  1. Turn the oven off and wait three minutes before turning it on again if "F -24" or "F-25" is displayed. These error codes mean the keys on the control panel were pushed or touched for longer than 60 seconds. Leaning against the oven or hanging objects in front of the controls can cause these error codes to appear.
  2. 3 Press the "Oven Off" key to clear the display and reset the oven if an "F" followed by two numbers is shown on the display. Wait three minutes, and turn the oven on. This type of error code indicates a problem with the signal received by the electronic control board.
  3. 4 Write the error code down if an error code displays more than once. Thermador recommends calling a service technician if an error code reappears.

Kenmore Gas Range model # 362.75491990 F3 error Oven will not hold temp - error message displays and beeps I Replaced the oven temp sensor same issue Is the control panel bad?

Hi,

Many models of the GE microwave have sensors that can detect humidity from the foods you are cooking. This allows the microwave to make adjustments to the power levels used to cook your food. If "Sensor Error" appears, you should either press "Clear" to cancel the mode or leave the food in the appliance longer to give the microwave more time to detect the food.

Press "Time Cook" to manually enter the time if you receive an error message when trying to use the "Sensor Reheat" mode of your GE microwave. The error message may be caused by the food item being too large or too small to detect.

these are some other code error that will help you in case of next time.

  1. Step 1 Press "Off/Cancel" (or "Cancel/Off" depending on your model) to clear the error code. Note the code if it reappears.
  2. Step 2 Replace the touchpad if the code displayed is "F0," "F7" or "F10." A function key is stuck or shorted.
  3. Step 3 Replace the touchpad or the clock (ERC) if the code "F1" is displayed. Disconnect the ribbon connector to the touchpad. If no code is displayed after an hour, replace the touchpad. If the code displays again, replace the clock.
  4. Step 4 Replace the oven temperature sensor if "F2," "F3" or "F4" is displayed. "F2" indicates the oven temperature is too hot and the oven temperature sensor is suspect. "F3" or "F4" indicates the oven temperature sensor or shorted or open.
  5. Step 5 Replace the ERC if "F5," F6" or "F8" is displayed. The ERC is the main control unit. "F5," F6" and "F8 are codes that indicate problems in the ERC functions.
  6. Step 6 Inspect the door-lock assembly and circuit if "F9" is displayed. The door must lock when the oven is in use. If the lock mechanism is not functioning or if the detection circuit is malfunctioning, the stove will display "F9."

jQuery('.article ol .image').each(function(i,e){ var $this = jQuery(this); $this.find('img').error(function(){ jQuery(this).remove(); $this.remove(); }); }); NOTE:

"F3" codes mean your oven temperature sensor has failed or shorted out. The only thing you can do is to replace the sensor.

Take care.
