Burning Videos I have the JVC Everio GZ-MG130. I can not burn from either saved files on my PC or directly from the camcorder. I am running Windows XP. The response I continually get is "Disc or Drive Not Ready" I am trying to record to Memorex DVD+R (RW) discs and have tried putting the discs in both drives on my computer...no luck. I can not find any location in the software that came with the camcorder to select a disc drive. Has anyone else had this problem or know how to correct it?

I think I have the same problem. I have downloaded files to my PC. Tried to run on Windows Home Vista. Files are there, no sound, can't burn to a disc. Using JVC's software, files are there through my works, sound is good but no way to select files to burn to a disc. What am I doing wrong? Anyone know?

Do i need a memory card to record..

No you do not need a memory card to record. The JVC Everio GZ-MG130 is a hard disk drive camcorder with a built-in 30 gigabyte hard drive to record to. You can, however, use an SD memory card if you want to add additional space to save your videos and pictures to.

I have a JVC Everio Video Camera, but i can not get the video files to burn to a dvd disc. i have downloaded them onto my computer- and created a dvd, but the files just will not burn onto a disc!! what am...

The problem's not what they are saved as, it's your burning software needs to transcopr them into mpeg-2 format so that they burn properly.
There are several dvd burning software programs out there...some very pricy and some are free.
For pricy type I would go with nero 10
For free, I reccomend Free DVD Creater
Whatever program you go with, it must be one that will change the format from whatever it is, to mpeg-2.

I hope this helps.

Download on JVC MG130U

Try saving the files from your camcorder to your PC.
This way you can convert them and use them as you wish.
Burn them to DVD using a NERO package.
If they are of an unsupported format (DiVX), use a relevant programme to convert them up to DVD 'ConvertXtoDVD' is a pretty good, freely available programme on file share sites.
I used it for my Digicam videos.
Hope this helps
