Need the battery recharger and computer connector

The C1433 is a camera, not a battery charger. It uses standard AA batteries, either disposables or rechargeables. If you choose to use rechargeable batteries, you must charge them outside the camera using a separate battery charger.

Charge lithium battery

A. Charge with USB cable
Insert the lithium battery into your camera correctly, and connect your camera to computer with USB cable. The red LED of camera will be light on indicating that your camera is in charging status, the LED will be off when charge full.

B. Charge with supplied charger
Your camera is supplied a compatible charger for you, you are only required to put the battery into charger and charge the lithium battery directly from electrical outlet

There are two ways you can recharge the 8025's battery. One is to use the supplied charger. Remove the battery from the camera, put it into the charger, and plug the charger into a wall outlet. The second is to connect the camera to a powered USB port using the supplied cable. Be aware that not all computer USB ports put out sufficient current to charge batteries.

Try a different USB port and don't use an extension cable with it either. Make sure the computer you are using is turned ON and stays on during the charging. not sure about the second half of your question, not knowing how to open? and change the battery? If you never opened it to begin with how did you get the rechargeable battery pack into it?? they don't come installed. battery was separate in the packaging on mine. anyhow, there is a little slide button at bottom of camcorder slide the opposite direction, then the whole front of the camcorder slides down and off of the camera. The battery pack goes in. the White plastic that covers both batteries Stays on them do not remove, but if there is a little plastic strip covering the connections remove that. I have the Ultra HD and it also takes regular AA batteries, and you may try that too to see if it will work your camera, if not, maybe something is wrong with the camera.
I am hoping you did not think the rechargeable batteries were already in the camcorder and they got thrown away with the packaging !!!! IF so, then use AA batteries instead. good luck. :)

I don't believe these batteries with this camera are rechargable. the spec sheet calls for alkaline batteries. Do the batteries in the camera say rechargable on them. There is a Kodak battery charger with batteries , but that is a multipurpose charger for many cameras, and all it does is charg batteries like any other batter charger.

The camera should have come with a charger. You can recharge the battery either in that charger or by connecting via the USB cable to a computer or other device that puts out enough current. Be aware that not all computer USB ports put out enough current.

The DSC-W55 does not contain any charging circuitry. Connecting the camera to a computer makes the battery drain faster, since the camera must use juice communicating with the computer (even if only to say it has nothing to say). You need to use the supplied battery charger to charge the battery.

Hi,
You can not charge camera DSC-W120 battery with USB cable in computer. To recharge battery you need battery charger with following part number..
148017521 CHARGER, BATTERY (BC-CSGC)
Available in Sony Accessories Store.

You need a separate battery charger for this camera. It does not have a battery charger built into the camera itself and can not be recharged thru any cords connected directly to the camera. The USB cords only transfer the files to the computer, they don't recharge the camera.
