My panasonic plasma started showing vertical lines

Look at the buffer board or the Y sustain board on a plasma having picture aberrations.

What does it mean if i get 6 blinks on my tc-p50s1

i guess it would be the PSU board, remove the back lid an check for any blown capacitor and replace it yourself - having an ESR meter will help to detect the other bad ones that will not last long

I have a panasonic plasma tc-p50s1 half of the screen is black bottom half

My best guess would be that your SD board is bad. On this model think the part number is TXNSD1EDUU.

TC-P50S1 will not power on after power surge

try unplugging from power for at least 30 seconds. if that doesn't work, it may be a fuse. see the picture for the fuse location.2_25_2013_1_41_21_am.jpg

I have a Panasonic Model TC-P50S1 plasma TV and the red indicator light continuously blinks and the TV never does come on. Can this be fixed?

Panasonic utilizes the blinking light as a form of self-diagnostics, similar to the "check engine" light in your car. If you've ever experienced that, you know that a check engine light could indicate anything from a loose gas cap to a major failure.

Panasonic uses the number of times the light blinks, to aid the technician in trouble-shooting the problem. The blinking light indicates an area of concern and helps the technician to isolate the problem and order the correct parts. This in turn speeds up the repair process, keeps parts cost down, and helps both you and the servicer by allowing the technician to complete a repair in one trip in most cases.
So contact an authorized service center.

WHILE WATCHING MY TV TONIGHT I HEARD A LOUD POP AND NOW NO PICTURE JUST BLINKING RED LIGHT

10 blinks for this tv is not always an A Board issue. It can be a problem with the power board as well. A technician should look at the set to dertermine where the problem lies otherwise it is just a guessing game of inni minni miny moe.

I have a vertical white bar running down the middle of my screen. I have seen it before, but it has disappeared within a few minutes. Now it won't go away even after turning off the tv and letting it sit.

Your plasma panel is in the process of dying.

There is no economically feasible way to fix this, your best bet would be to start shopping for a new TV. A replacement panel for your TV would cost 80-90% of the value of a new TV.

Good luck.

I have a Panasonic TC-P50S1 Plasma HDTV. I am trying to run my PC into it via DVI to HDMI. It will work, sort of, for a little bit. Then eventually the screen flickers and I lose the picture completely. I...

I BELIEVE THE ISSUE IS THE RESOLUTION THAT THE VIDEO CARD IS SET AT. IF YOU ARE USING THE SAME RESOLUTION AS THE PC, IT WON'T WORK.

TRY SETTING THE VIDEO CARD RESOLUTION AT 1920 X 1080. THIS SHOULD WORK.
