I733 Polaroid camera will not turn on

My daughter has an i733 Polaroid, it will not turn on. Pressing the power button gets 3 low beeps and the green light flashes, the lens won't come out and the screen doesn't come on. It worked fine for 2 months then decided it wouldn't work any longer after inserting a new SD card (while camera was off). I've checked the batteries, they are fine.

I have an i733 Polaroid (it is hot pink), and it will not turn on. Pressing the power button gets 3 low beeps and the green light flashes, the lens won't come out and the screen doesn't come on. It worked fine for 2 months then decided it wouldn't work any longer after inserting a new SD card. I have already bought new batteries and replaced them and it still doesn't work. I dont think that it has anything to do with the batteries because my batteries are fine. What else can I do?

I have had this camera for a few days. It just suddenly starting doing it.

This is just nice, I just got it and wasted all my money? I used this camera to record a lot of things, and take my astrophotography. There's got to be a solution.

Second Polaroid with same problems, lens won't go back in and the cameras are toast. First one is an i634, the other is an i830. I am finished buying ANY Polaroid products. The i830 lasted only 3 months, never dropped or abused. It just locked with the lens protruding and not able to go back in. Junk in my opinion.

my camera will not turn on when i put in the batteries and try to turn it on it does 3 beeping nocies and the screen does not turn on .

This happened to me too. If the lens is halfway out or crooked, try pressing the power button and pushing or pulling the lens either out or towards the way that will make it not crooked. You have to use a little force to get it unstuck but it worked for us!

3 beeps. A green blinking light. Camera will not open or turn on. Lens will not extend. It was a nice camera. Overnight, it is useless.

** Note: Trying To Force Lens open, Will Make Lens Cover Assembly To Pop Off. **

    Disappointed overall.

I had the same problem!! U gotta smack the hell out of it like 10 times and it should go back to normal, it could be dust or something loose inside.

My camera did this. I called Polaroid customer service and they said that this is lense failure and the camera is completely unfixable. LOL Sooo...if your camera is under warranty bring it back, and if not call Polaroid...they have an out of warranty program that will replace it for $65. For more info: www.pixelstores.com

My i733 polaroid camera beeps 3 times amd wont come on

This is a camera system failure and includes the lens, not cost effective for repair, cheaper to replace.

I have a polaroid i733 digital camera when i go to turn it on a green light...

My Nikon D70 quit working and would only flash a green light. I contacted Nikon and they fixed it, no charge. I was very happy with Nikon for the free repair! If you have this problem, go to the Nikon website and do a search for flashing green light. They cover this problem as a defect and did not ask for any proof of purchase or anything. Very smooth and easy. Thank you Nikon!!!

My polaroid i733 turns on the beeps 3 times then turns off when the sd card is in. i have tried formatting the card and camera but it still is not working any help

Had the same problem with our i733 Pink Polaroid. Beeps three times and then shuts off. The reason for this is that the lens is stuck in the partially open position. Because our camera was long past warranty and we bought it for $40 second hand I took the brute force approach. I grabbed hold of the lens and wiggled it from side to side while trying to pull it out (forcefully but being as careful as I could not to damage it) and then there was a small "pop" and the lens came out all the way and the camera was good to go again. Hope this helps.

I have a polaroid i733 camera and the lense is out and it makes 3 beeps and wont turn on how can I fix this

My Son's camera had the same problem. 3 beeps and
it would turn off with the lens out. I think it must have
been dropped, he says no! Look carefully at your lens
and see if it looks crooked. If it is like his was, pull it out
a bit to straighten it out. His is working fine now!

Polaroid i733

Hey Ally00,
You can try removing the batteries and cleaning the battery contacts with an eraser. By removing the batteries you will also reset the camera to its default settings, which might also help. If this doesn't work I would have the camera looked at by an authorized service technician such as bringing the camera to a Geek Squad® precinct in a Best Buy™ store, and they can send it out to have it serviced. I hope this helps!

Sincerely,
Allan

My batteries died in my pink i733 and when it shut down the "zoom lense" did not recede. i put fresh batteries in it but all that happens is that the green light flashes. it wont come on or...

This can sometimes be fixed if you remove the batteries over night and allow the camera to sit and discharge it should correct this problem. hope this helps.

Won't turn on

It's because you need to push the lens in when you turn on the camera.
