It's not the cable that is the problem then, it is the drivers need to be installed to detect it. download the motorola usb software and it should install it for you.

If you are provided with USB cable , Then u net to inset the USB to PC and the other end jack to your mobile charging point.

If you do not have an USB cable , Get it from from any mobile dealers asking for 3.5mm jack USB cable for Motorola.

here it is problem is in drivers for usb connection? did your phone appear in itunes? or a didk driveappear in your My Computer when you connect your phone? if both are NO then install drivers and then try... link to these drivers is Drivers

yes its possible. first install motorola phone tools on your computer. then configure the phone setting/connection/data/fax connection. then connect the phone with usb cable. then click default profile-ok. it detects your phone. when the phone appears in the right down side of your pc,then click connect to the internet button. cofigure the connection according to your service provider and continue the process. any further infomation contact with me at 008801714731453.

Hi i have a motorola v3i cellphone, but i cannot link from pc to cell. It detects the cable, but no link.

you have to let it install and dont connect your phone until it has finished once it has finished then click on mototrola phone tools icon on the desktop. it should tell you to set up your phone click next then once you have done that then you it should give you 3 options click cable. then next and follow the prompts.

downloading mobile games via your phone takes time and may come up into a more expensive one. so i suggest downloading games via PC, and because this is what i've preferred to.

installation:

after you have downloaded your chosen games, now we're going to install it from your PC to your V3i.


prerequisites:

1. your data cable(sometimes called as USB cable)
2. and your v3i - of course


getting ready:

1. connect your v3i using your data cable into your pc

NOTE:
before connecting your mobile device into your pc, you
must select "Memory Card" as your "Default Connection".

to do this, on your mobile select:
-> Main Menu
-> Connectivity
-> USB Settings
-> Default Connection
-> Memory Card

2. a pop-up window will appear asking "What do you want Windows to do?" or the like. on the icon list box select "Open Folder to view files" and then click "OK", or you can ignore this by hitting the "Cancel" button.

if no pop-up window shows up, open your "Windows Explorer" and select your memory card from the list, open it.

3. if you're in, copy your downloaded games file from this directory of your Multimedia Memory Card(MMC):

[your MMC]\mobile\kjava

4. safely remove your mobile


games installation:

1. on your mobile, open "Games & Apps"

2. switch your storage device into your memory card

3. select [Install New]

4. from the list, select the game that you have just copied from your PC into your v3i

5. follow further instructions that will appear from your fon

6. there may have some instance you will encounter asking you to continue downloading, just select yes.

7. then it is done..just follow the instructions very carefully.

yep simply attach the cable start your motorola ponetools and tada you are done
