Onkyo tx-sr604 help

You said you tried hooking the HDMI up directly from the TV to each component, and that worked. How is it usually hooked up - through some kind of switch? I'm not completely understanding your setup here.

Westinghouse tx-52F480s. flicker, turned into colored lines. now all black. all inputs. what is the problem. which board?

Most likely the T-CON board it is dead. The tv have colors vertical lines alway causes by a dead T-CON board,if only this problems, happen by the tv itself only. Not causes by u or an object by hitting it with forces, than the tv LCD screen panel it is damages and tv it is worthless as a whole tv set.Because the tvs LCD screen panels are very important to the tvs and it is 90% of the costes of all tvs.The T-CON board sit in the middle at the bottom of the tv LCD screen panel.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish T-CON board for the replacement.

Westinghouse TV no stereo

Hi my name is Roety,
I can help you with your issue ,
Why don't you simply run the cable box and DVD stereo outputs direct to the receiver. Thats what most people do. TVs do not passthrough stereo signal very well do to DHCP compliance requirements .
