Charging problem the red light and green light or both on when charging and the batteries don't seem to be charging

sounds like the batteries are dud, most chargers have 2 or 3 lights, red (max charging) Amber (battery nearing full charge) Green (fully charged and most will switch to a trickle charge) has the scooter been out of use for some time as scooter / wheelchair batteries must be kept charged, and only a short time of no use can destroy the batteries.

I have a Golden GC321 When the battery charger is on there is a green light and next to it is a red light Does the red light ever go off when charging.

the gc 321 has a diagonistic sender built in, go to golden companion.com
and down load the owners manuel for it, its free and very helpful, when you 1st turn on the key , you count the times the red lite blinks an it will diagnose your problem, then you look it up in the manuel!
also go to monster.com and type in make and model, a set of keys is about $10

I recently purchased a new, unused golden companion ii which has sat for a long time. No signs of life, but when its on charge both the red and green light are lit. The charger indicates that green means...

This sounds like the battery's have gone bad. You will need to check with a local dealer to find replacement battery's. If you can access the battery's to remove them they can be tested at any local auto parts store.

Golden companion II full charge turn key on press lever to go forward it dont move hear clicking sound green light on dash blinks

John count the number of flashes by the green light and it will be the fault code indicating the problem Your owners manual should list the fault codes to be able to determine what the problem is. Ie 4 blinks pause 4 blinks pause. The clicking you hear is the electric brakes being engaged. Hope this helps

I need the wiring diagram for the Golden buzzaround scooter I need to check the wiring to be sure it is correct as it is not working! Have new batteries with fully charged indication and horn works but no...

Most manufacturers consider wiring diagrams like that to be proprietary information and will not release them if the scooter is a current, active model. Make sure that the manual brake/freewheel level is in the drive position and that there are no flashing lights on your controller which can indicate a problem. If you continue to have issues, contact the manufacturer to see if their Tech Support can assist you over the phone; 800-624-6374.
Good luck!

How long does it take to fully charge Golden Companion II bATTERIES?

Hi. Charging batteries is dependent on how far you travelled, the size of the battery, and the type of charger you have.
The best rule is to charge the batteries overnight after each use.
If your charger has an LED to show when the batteries are nearly full.
This LED is a guide only, and most batteries still need a few more hours of charging after the LED turns green.
Charging batteries is not like filling up a jug of water. Its a chemical reaction in a battery, and it takes time to charge them fully.
Good luck. Neil.

Green light flashes 9 times will not go

Hi. Different brands of controllers give different fault codes. If this is a dynamic controller, 9 flashes is the code for a faulty controller. This does not always mean that the controller is actually at fault.
It could be a burn't out brake solenoid, that now has a different resistance through the solenoid coil.
You mention the middle speed green light is flashing, normally on dynamic controllers, it is the most left battery level LED that flashes. You might have a different controller.
Have a look under the panels and let us know what controller your machine has.
You could try the agents, and see if they can tell you what the problem is.
Good luck. Neil.
