Invalid book address

Hi,
this is to do with settings in Nero.
The book-Type is settings For CD/DVD et,c.
The actual Format the disk has to be written in. If you,ve got the book-type set to write a CD for example, and burned a DVD. it would error as it needs to write more data, than the Disk Allows.
CD 650mb. DVD 4370 mb or equivalent.
I,d uninstall-re-install nero, and ensure you select your type of disk to Compile. Which will automatically select The Correct Book-Type for The compilation required.

Boss BR 8...I insert the 100 mb disk, then asks to initialize..I enter 'yes' then it asks 'sure?' I enter yes then it says 'medium error' then ejects the disk..what's the problem?

If the disk had data put on with a PC you might try deleting all files and folders using the PC before formatting the disk in the BR8.

It is also possible that the media has gone bad.

A final try would be to degauss the disk and try to format on the BR8.

Nakamichi MB-70 CD player - cannot get cd to eject

Having just removed three discs from an identical unit which also jammed, I will say how easy that was. I do not know if the unit will now function when reinstalled in the vehicle.

Remove the unit from its mounts, remove the outer "frame" (if fitted), remove the two #2 phillips pan head screws from the sides holding the face to the chassis, remove the four #0 phillips screws (black, flat head) from the top and bottom of the face plate.

Slide the face plate off and carefully handle it while tethered by its ribbon wire.

Turing the unit upside down, peer into the opening and observe the disc, gently press the carriage away from the top of the unit (now the bottom, as it is inverted) and allow the disc to be freed, simply pull the disc out.

If there are multiple discs stuck inside, oberve the large metal gear just inside, carefully rotate the gear to actuate the loading mechanism as needed to release addtional discs.

Nakamichi CD player ejects discs

I think either your disk player, or your CD is dirty.
You should probalyly try getting a Q-tip slightly dampened in rubbing alcohol .
and clean the inside of your player.

Or you should try a different disk
