Hold round center button for 10 seconds, light will stay on and be in pairing mode.

Wow! I had the same problem, and this worked great!

The user manual says to make sure the headset is off, then hold down the power button for 5 seconds or more (AFTER the light blinks--keep holding until the light comes on solid). Mine wouldn't do that; it the light just stayed off after the initial blinking (while holding) for several seconds, and eventually went to the "I'm on, but I'm not connected to anything" blinking (three short blinks, rest, three short blinks...).

This solution--turning the headset ON, then holding the answer-call button until the light goes on solid (in pairing mode)--worked like a charm! Thanks so much!

Can't pair my VBT2050 with motorola Droid

BT2050 must be off.
Push power button and round top button on BT2050 ear piece at same time until white light stays on. Both must be held down together.
Once white light is continuosly on (not blinking) then put droid in "Scan for device " mode.
Pairing should then take place

Press and hold the center round on/off button for 10 seconds to put Jabra BT2050 into pairing mode. Type in pin "0000" when the BlackBerry 8520 detected the bluetooth headset, then the two should be paired. Hope this help.

Try this.. depending on the Jabra hold the button for a few seconds until the light goes blue or if there is a pin hole on the jabra Using a paperclip, lightly press into the hole till you feel a click. The display will change to say pairing mode. Go to your phone and you will see a display asking permission to pair. The password is 0000. Once it is in, go to the selection of Jabra XXX and press on the trackball. Go to DEVICE PROPERTIES and press trackball. Go down to TRUSTED and press trackball. Roll trackball to YES.

I bought a jabra bt 2050...i cant get the led light to stay on..it only wants to flash...and it wont pair with my blackberry storm

Try to press and hold the center on/off button for 10 seconds, this will put the Jabra BT2050 into paring mode.

Assumptions made:
1) The BlackBerry is Bluetooth enabled.
2) The Jabra BT2050 is fully charged.

Hope this help.

My Jabra headset won't pair with my phone--my phone can't "discover" the headset. The headset is charged and when it is turned on, it blinks three times in a row

Assuming you're talking about the Jabra BT2050 headset press and hold the center (round) button for at least 10 seconds; light will stay solid entering the pairing mode. Follow instructions on your phone.

Jabra BT2050 Bluetooth Headset not found on cell phone? I turned on the headset, and when i search for it, the headset doesn't show up. My phone just says "no new devices", and its not a known device

Try pairing it again. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on phone, turn the BT2050 on by pressing and holding the side power button. Then, press and hold the center (round) button for at least 10 seconds (light will stay solid and it is now on pairing mode). Follow instructions on your phone. Hope this helps.

I can't get Jabra BT 2050 bluetooth into pairing mode. I follow the instructions but never get the solid light. What can I do?

Booklet instructions for how to pair it with a new device are wrong. It tells you holding the power button will put it into pairing mode but it does not.
Pairing mode is done by turning off the ear piece, then holding both power and answer/hangup at the same time. The LED should flash fast 3 or 4 times and then stay on solid. You might need to hold just power till the very first flash THEN begin holding answer/hangup as well as power till the LED goes constant. I’ve also had luck when frustrated by just holding all 4 buttons at once.

Problem pairing my Jabra vbt 2050 with my blackberry storm

Hold the volume up (+) button down along with the call button for 5-10 seconds (until the led lis solid). Then, while the led is lit up, initiate the pairing on your phone. It should pair this time. It worked for my phone, which was having the same problem you described.
