Jabra BT2050 blinks three times; doesnot pair up

Wow! I had the same problem, and this worked great!

The user manual says to make sure the headset is off, then hold down the power button for 5 seconds or more (AFTER the light blinks--keep holding until the light comes on solid). Mine wouldn't do that; it the light just stayed off after the initial blinking (while holding) for several seconds, and eventually went to the "I'm on, but I'm not connected to anything" blinking (three short blinks, rest, three short blinks...).

This solution--turning the headset ON, then holding the answer-call button until the light goes on solid (in pairing mode)--worked like a charm! Thanks so much! Wow!
