New tank, or make a new one, something that floats with a small Neodymium magnet. A slice through a wine cork would do.

I had the same problem the manual says to wipe the barcode on the Tdisc but it didn't work for me. Instead I figured it must be the reader which is where the disc slots in. I wioed it clean and it works fine now.

Hey I was having this same problem with blinking and I was shaking the tank trying to get it to engage when my husband, who can fix literally anything, discovered that the magnet in the tank has to engage with the read sensor inside the machine. This magnet is what tells the machine that the water is getting too low. Our magnet gets stuck out of place sometimes. He said it is getting weak and we need to replace it. He used another magnet and held it at the back of the machine beside the tank near the magnet to trick it to engage. It really works! Now, I wonder if Tassimo can send me the perfect size little magnet to replace it. HMMM!
