Make sure you did put in a genuine and new cartridge. Then you have to make sure the contacts on the chip that is on the cartridge are clem and shiny. Not a spec of dust is allowed on the contacts. After replacement switch of the printer and switch on, to make sure the printer gets a reset and will start up with a complete check of the printer.
Hi first make sure you have paper and ink in the fax. If you do, then unplug it for a min. It will hold the memory when unplugged. When you plug it back in it should print out. Good luck
Your reception mode is set to TEL/FAX or TEL mode, to set it to automatically receive faxes it should be set to FAX. Look at the LCD display ( right section ).
To change the reception mode you can print the HELP LIST by pressing COPY/HELP button.
You can also put the machine in serves mode by unplugging the power from the machine, press both the the copy/help and the stop buttons at the same time, hold them and plug back the power until you see TF662B service mode.This also works well with refill cartridges.

There's some kind of a chip chip in the catridge that notifies the printer that the same cartridge has been refilled. to get around this check keep atleast 2 or 3 empty cartridges, refill and cycle them. That should do the trick!
