DEll Poweredge 2450 no chassis key

We have a DEll Poweredge 2450 which was donated to us. I would like to upgrade the RAM but I have no key for the chassis lock. Is there any way of getting in there without damaging the case?

On the face plate where the key plate is numbers, most college will have the key . I open them quite often with a paper clip and small blade screw driver
Or remove the pins on the hingeside of the face plate if this is the U2 platform
If you not find any help send me the numbers for the key needed and I will see if I can find the key you require.
Thes locks are not too secure and from all the 2450 and 2400 even 2550 I work on only 4 keys total

I want my Laptop Dell Latitude C800 physical memory upgraded to 128 mb to 256 mb I myself already installed 256 mb Ram but it still showing 128 mb of memory...can I get help in this regard ?

I assume you installed another 128Mb of RAM to give you a total of 256Mb.
It is most likely the 2nd RAM module is not compatible with the other RAM module. Try using the same make.
OR
Purchase and install a single RAM module 256Mb or 512Mb these are not expensive.

How to upgrade harddisk memory.,

You need more attention that this forum can provide.

The good new is that Dell has lifetime phone support for their servers.

Write down the Express Service Code and Service Tag number that is on your server chassis and call Dell.
This is the last number I used for server support: (800) 945-3355
If it doesn't work you should be able to find a valid number at support.dell.com

I hope this helps.
