Hi , i reinstall window vista in my laptop, after that my wireless does not work. plz help me to splve that issue model no: acer extensa 5420-5038

Go to the Acer Support web site http://gd.panam.acer.com/home/. Search for your laptop model and download and install both wireless LAN drivers, the Atheros and the Broadcom. That should do it.

There should be a CD or DVD driver for your HP laptop. Insert the CD or DVD. You should be prompted to install the drivers, be it the sound card or network card.

Once you have it installed, just go to an area with a wireless connection & you should be all set.

You can also click on the Start menu button or the Windows logo on the bottom left hand side, click on Control Panel.

You can choose Network & Internet or Network & Sharing Center.

On the upper left hand side, find Manage Network Connections. There should be a wireless icon, right click on it & choose status or you can view available wireless network.
