Mitsubishi WD-65733 no picture, electrical buzzes in series

Mitsubishi WD-65733 replaced burnt out lamp. now with new lamp inserted i get no picture on screen. The tv powers on. a series of eletrical buzzes and electrical light comming from board next to lamp. I think its the ballast. What looks like a capacitor lights up with electricity. This cycle happens about three times and tv powers off.

What it sound's like is that the lamp ballast is the problem. Buzzing sounds like when the power is first brought to the ballast it has to ramp up the voltage to get the lamp to light, then the voltage drops back down when the lamp is lit. Sounds like the lamp ballast isn't ramping up the voltage the way it should. May have to replace it. A good service shop would be able to do this for you.

65" 1080 mitsubishi tv model# WD-65733 wont turn on

It is probably the wiring. Try buying a new power cord.
If not than it is just malfunctioned.

My tv color is very dim and the green light is blinking continuously

Hi! Your lamp is nearing the end of its life and needs to be replaced. You can do this very easily yourself and your manual explains how to do it. It's two screws. Order it directly from Mitsubishi. The OEM lamp costs $249. Do not buy an aftermarket lamp from an online retailer. They are of inferior quality, normally do not come with the cartridge can damage your set and they usually cost as much after you add the cartridge.
Here's the link for Mitsubishi.

The overall picture is not bright like it use to be. like about half the brightness. picture is fine just not bright

suggest replacing the lamp. when the lamps are reaching the end of their life the tv will take a long time to show a picture and you may see a drop in brightness. part number 915P061010 i would really suggest getting a mitsubishi original lamp there are alot of generics out there and they are junk. good luck

Wd-65733 Mitsubishi Tv green blinking light and TV will not come on

You need a new projector bulb. Google up your model and buy the best warranteed one you cAN FIND. Buy a "caged assembly" and not just a bare bulb.

Then unplug your tv and get a screwdriver. Follow your model's instructions and just snug down the electrical screws. Do not overtighten them.

Then consult your manual on how to reset the lamp timer so it knows you put a new bulb in and fires up from the first try.

Treat yourself because you've just saved yourself a trip from a repairman!
