Washed 3 loads yesterday just fine. On the fourth load, the washer stopped spinning. Gets stuck in "spin" and wont do anything. Will drain when put on drain cycle, and will fill and rinse. Just stopped spinning and gets stuck there doing nothing.
Doors closed as should be, and washer filled correctly. Washer fills but stops after that b/c it will not spin/aggitate/rotate.Gets stuck in filled position but will empty when put on the drain spot, and will fill again for rinse, but has to be manually moved there.
Otherwise it just stays idle after it fills. thanksDoors closed as should be, and washer filled correctly. I would pull the back panel off, and do a general inspection. When moved, things can get moved out of place by bumps and bouncing and may be apparent by inspection. Most front loaders use either a variable diameter pulley or a gearbox to change the drum rotation speed from slosh to spin. Take a look at the belt that on the pulley on the drum 'axle' and see if there is an apparent mechanism to 'shift into hi gear'. The code is just reporting that it could not spin. A visible inspection may reveal the cause.
Use a quarter inch nut driver to remove the bottom panel. A tech sheet should be under there that will give diagnostics. Open the pump filter and check for objects.
Hello, try to checked the pump filter, and the pump is actually
working. then I would suspect a
draining problem.
If filter clean and pump works fine then it could be a control module fault.
if this were the case, then it would probably be wiser to purchase a
new washer. Thanks
Read a post from someone else on this - turned out it works fine, just wouldn't work with the small wet load. I added towels to the bath mat load, washed them, it spins fine. Washed clothes & that worked fine too. Yay!! Not broken. Just not found of small loads of bath mats!
I fixed it yesterday. After checking the continuity of my lid switch and pressure switch and finding them ok I removed the tubing from the pressure switch and applied air (blew into it). There was a clog and blowing on it removed it for now. Apparently the pressure switch was telling the machine that the tub was full of water and wouldn't let it start the spin cycle. I ran three loads last night and it worked perfect. I may have to remove the connection on the side of the tub and clean it properly if it clogs again.
if it wont drain , check your lid switch, check out your motor coupler, if it will not agitate and spin, replace your motor coupler, if it agitates and dont spin, replace your lid switch.
alot of times the washer will drain but we hurriedly cut it off when we hear noise or the water is out but it never spinned and so the clothes are soapy wet...
