I have a eureka altima bagless and it wont pick up dirt i clean it and everything it just wont work

sounds like you need to change bag and clean out hose and dirt channel underneatch behind brushroll.

remove and clean the filter ( tap and brush filter or use a air compressor to blow out filter ) --- also check the vacume hose near the floor attachment for any dirt and debris that may be clogging the line. this should bring your vacume to full operation.

I have the exact same problem. The beater seems to turn just fine and the dirt is getting picked up, on it just sits in the hose. I don't think it's the best because it seems find, but who knows? Please help.

The problem is that your belt is stretched and worn. This causes that burning smell and it also causes the vacuum to not pick up well. You need to replace the belt. Here is the belt you need and the manual with instructions:

This bagless model gets buildup of really fine dirt in the motor and starts to clog up the fan airducts. You will need to take the motor out and clean it.

You probably need to change the belt. Here is a link to the belt you need and to the manual:

there is a lever at the bottom of the dirt cup,turn it to the left and pull out the dirt cup.note while you have the dirt cup out make sure you clean all the filters there is one right above the dirt cup pull out on the right side and there is a filter on it and at the bottom right below the dirt cup there is a door that says hepa.clean that one to.then your good to go

Sounds like its blocked. Check under the glide plate and the hose. Look in the book for model specific details

Usually clogs are in the dirt inlet by the brush roll, or in the hose. Take the hose off from the bottom and see if there is suction, if not, then the hose is clogged. If suction there, then it is lower. Also is the brush roll turning, if not, that could be your problem.
