Fossil Big Tic Brown Cuff Watch - Faulty??

Hi,

I have owned my Fossil Big Tic Cuff Watch for two years and have only just recently found the battery is showing signs it needs replacing.

The large digital seconds display on the clockface now does not appear yet the hands still work displaying time accurately.

The battery will be easy to replace, however my main concern is now the clockface appears to be loose and has moved from its fixed position (12 being in North postion at top), upon moving the watch i can clearly hear a rattle indicating it is loose.

How can i get this repaired? Will this be covered by a Fossil warranty?
I have not dropped or damaged the watch in anyway... is this a common fault?

To assist you i have listed the Serial No. on back of the watch:-
BG-1075 340508

I appreciate your support / help...

Regards

Kirk

Back screws off (you can get the correct tools or bodge with opened long nose pliers)
battery is GP377 50-99p each, you need 2, the 'seconds tic' will **** juice and last about 6 months, the time one will last 12 months + so buy 3-4 batteries.

I replaced both the batteries in mine in abut 5 minutes. Open the watch and see if there is anything loose inside. It is more than likely a very simple fix.

Good luck!

Just send it to fossil with the $25.00 I think it is and they will either fix it or send you a new one. Check out their website and go to warranty. their service is awesome with or without the receipt.

Unfortunately i have owned the watch just over two years and it was a gift so i am unable to retrieve a receipt (proof of purchase), without this i have no valid warranty.

I am going to attampt to take the watch into a local watch / jewellers to see if its a simple fix.

The battery should (i hope) be simple to resolve.
If not i will have no option but to send into the UK Fossil Service Centre for repair (Prob out of my own pocket).

I may drop them an email enquiring.

Many thanks for your post and concern.
I will keep you updated.

Hello, not much help I'm afraid, but I was wondering where you intend to get the replacement battery for the 'tic' part? I'm trying to avoid sending it to Fossil.

I imagine your fault would be covered by warranty, and you get 2 years as well I think?

I think you have a number missing from the model number, they are all 4 numbers as opposed to 3. If you purchased it on Amazon or eBay, it is a clone. Contact Fossil and book it in for a service.

I have a big tic fossil watch. The flashing second is working properly, but the hand doesnt. It looks like slowing down. How can I fix this problem. Thank you

your watch has two batteries inside, the small battery is the one that had to be replaced. it is under the big battery, the small battery makes the minute and hour hand move while the big battery makes the seconds flashing. i hope that i had been helped you.

The hands have stopped on my Fossil Big Tic watch but the digital display still works, like the seconds.

This watch has 2 batteries so sounds like the main one has gone flat and the display one is still going, you just need to get the battery replaced.
