M3plugin.dll missing entry:UPF what does this mean. is this why i can't unzip files?

  • pricememe Nov 20, 2009

i've already done this. It has stopped the window from coming up but, i still can't open a zipped file. Let me start from the beginning. I had a window come up that said " the specified module could not be found" this was referring to m3plugin.dll file I beleive. I didn't know what it meant. If I remember right i also got a message from my TREND MICRO PC-CILLIN 14 that i had a virus that it could not delete. I wasn't sure what to do so I did nothing at first. My PC was running ok at the time. I down loaded some trading robots (ivybot) and got them going. Then when I tried to down loaded the bonuses and it wouldn't open. Just keeped flashing. I tried to open fpd file to read instructions and wouldn't open just keeped flashing. I deleted and started over ( several times) but couldn't open. So from there I tried to figuer out what this message meant. My understanding ? was that i had a virus that TREND MIRCO couldn't erase. It recomended to delete the file so I did. That's when the message started saying "now missing entry:UPF " instead of "the specified module couldn't be found". and I still can't unzip folders. So I assume I need a new m3plugin.dll file? so I can open zipped files. I don't believe I have virus anymore and PC is running well. But won't unzip. I know this is getting sent kind of late (EST). sorry. and thanks for your time.

This is a problem related to some corrupted registry on your computer that is link to that PDF reader that you use, what you can do here first is to scan your computer with a registry cleaner like CCLEANER you can download it from this link and scan the computer with to correct any registry problem....

But if that wont work you can download this software to correct the missing M3plugin from this link

Possible Virus and Malware

There is a good chance that you have a virus or malware that is keeping those programs from opening. It does not matter these days what security you have if the door to the web is opened. At the end of this are two links to programs that you should load up and run. The first is MalwareBytes Ant-Malware Tool, the other is Avast Anti-Virus 4.8, install these two and let them perform scans.

Run MalwareBytes first and perform a quick scan, when it finishes, it will ask you to post the results, when it does delete everything it finds.
Run Avast and install it, when it asks, go ahead and schedule a pre-boot scan of your entire system. This should get rid of most problems….
