I was in an accident and the driver side wheel is bent inwards about 25 degrees. VW beetle 04 any idea the extent before the inspector comes out?

    control arm damage maybe even bent tie rod end .spindles usually are tuff and dont bend . front or back ? just says drivers side .

You must have the car put up on a rack and all the parts inspected, you have something that is bent and ruined is my guess. Insurance will cover this of course.

Check the protective backing plate for the brakes to see if its bent. Look at the opposite side to get a good idea what it looks like to bend back into shape if so. If bent they will create a noise or whistle effect

you have answered your own question,their is a special tool but i use a pair of long nosed pliers with the ends heated up and then bent inwards ,
