Tiling problem with cable card

I have a Motorola Cable Card from Time Warner. I get tiling on the HD channels that no amount of help from Time Warner can fix. They checked connections, signal, fixed issues in the lines in the neighborhhod, and swapped cards. I finally have a cable box on loan and no problems. Is this a card issue or an issue with my Pioneer 5070?

This is a two sided issue 1. The Tv model you have does not work with there TV card 2. There Tv cards are so outdated its pathetic and do not work for most people on newer TV's that accept the cable card. You can try purchasing your own cable card but would recommend you stay with the cable box for now!

Thanks and please do rate your solution positivly

My 32 incn Hisense Roku tv can I hook it up to my time warner cable instead of wireless connection

Yes, you can. You would need to hook the cable box up to the tv using an HDMI cable for it to work. Hope it helped!

Whats the code in the menu to turn on HD channels?

First the televsion programming is made available from the establsihed structure. For example, time warner cable estblsihment makes the resources available once established. Second, dish network would make programming telecast channel signals available once establsihed also. Ascertain the televsion program establsihment to enquire details that makes channel display achievble. For example, registing details from time warner cable would evaluate to establish structures from where reception is attainable. Either as code prorgams or remote control preprgammed that least requires the use from establsihing setups. Conact a television programming establsihment to evaluate the devices at the location to provide a requestion professional establsiment to attain user experineces.

Tiling on HDTV

FIXED MY TILING PROBLEM-FINALLY !!!!
After months and months of freezing pictures and audio drop outs, I took it upon myself to see if I could fiquire this out.

In the attic I located my main cable feed was connecting to a 5-way splitter. That means my signal is being split 5 different time to go to 5 different TV jacks.

FIRST, I disconnected the main cable line from the 5-way splitter and connected it to a 2-way splitter.
SECOND, I connected the line that goes to my main TV (cable box) to the 2-way splitter.
THIRD, I connected a cable from the 2-way splitter back to the 5-way splitter.

THAT'S IT !!!!

My other TVs which don't use a cable box, never had any tiling issues, just the HDTV with the cable box. So now the signal to the HDTV is only split twice instead of 5 times.

I purchased a SANYO-DP46848 42"HDTV. I have a Cable box and my cable provider (Time Warner Cable) provides free HD Channels. However.... I CANNOT PICKUP ANY HD CHANNELS ON THE NEW TV. WHY???...

I just got the same exact one, when it searches automatically the first time it doesn't look for digital channels. go to Menu>manual channel search>cable. it will look for all possible signals and will take forever probably. the free digital channels will take several seconds to switch channel to channel, but they're there! They will show up on your screen as "DC 91-2" or similar. you can switch back to regular cable channels with the input button, you just cycle through all the inputs. hope that helps.

Viewing

When you watch TV with a Cable Box or a Dish Network Box you are using a tuner inside that box. The signal that comes out of that box only contains one channel, the one you're tuned to. So you can take the output of the Dish Box and send it into your ATI tuner card, but you cannot change the channel to anything other than what the DIsh Box is set to. I'm sorry, but that's just the way it is. I use a Hauppague tuner card that has what's called an "IR Blaster". By hooking this device up to my Cable Box and I can used my computer to change the channel on the Cable Box itself.

If you had cable, you could run the cable into the TV tuner and watch the analog channels. I have Time Warner in my area and they still broadcast about 50 channels in analog. I cannot use the tuner card to watch any of the digital channels. This probably does not help you, but I thought you might like to know.

I want you to know that I don't get paid to offer these suggestions. I know it's a strange hobby, but I like to help when I can. Even though I cannot solve your problem I hope I provided helpful information and you will give this solution a positive rating. I've noticed that many times this type of question goes unanswered because nobody wants to get a bad rating when a problem has no solution. Thanks and good luck.
