Mitsu WS-55859---About a year ago you guys helped me fix the green blinking light problem, THANK YOU! Now I have a new one, I was watching tv and it shut down, when I tried to turn it back on it would power up for about 2 sec. and then shut off, with no picture. last year i replaced the 7 capacitors in the DM module and a few months after the convergence IC went out and i replaced that. It's been about 8 months and this happened.can you help? Thank-you very much.
2,2 is short protection.
98% chance the fuse or fuses (there are two 5 amp pico fuses) that protect the convergence circuit are blown. If you find F9AO4 OR F9AO5 on that board check them--if either is open the STK-393-110 DID IT.
Fairly short life for this chip if it was installed correctly and had heat sink compound applied to it--once in a while you get a bad one.
