No steam! the steamer on my unit just stopped working. it's not clogged as far as I can tell - cleaned it thoroughly. kinda would like to have this part working - any suggestions?

Have you tried descaling it? Limescale blockages are common.

I was able to turn on the steam mop, but no matter how hard I pumped the handle... no steam. Someone here said to put vinegar into the water bottle. I realized that they were saying particles from the water could have formed and clogged the steam tube. First, make sure your steamer is OFF!! Turn the steamer upside down as though you were putting a new pad on, Use a slender object to clean out the tubing where the steam comes from. Again, I will say... make sure your machine is off before you attempt this.. Otherwise, when you clean out the tubing the object will become a bullet flying thru the air and can hurt you, Hope this works

Mine started steaming from the top and a little plastic piece inside where the handle attaches to the wand cracked. I had to purchase an entire head and after one use it did the same thing again. It is a poorly made steamer with cheap plastic parts! Since it was out of warranty, I threw it in the dumpster!

Sandi I would try cleaning it with vinegar or CLR tha will unclog the unit.

carl, Ithink your unit is clogged. Clean it thoroughly with vinegar or CLR And it should unclog. Rinse and fill up fresh water and power up! goodluck

There must be a blockage in that steam pipe, I think you need to dismantle the machine and remove all of the steamer parts off the boiler and look for the cause of the problem. Oftentimes it will be old hard milk that has been drawn up the pipe and gone hard from the heat. Once cleaned out prevention by blowing a large amount of extra steam through it after each use is the solution.

check both of your filters they are probably clogged causing the other clog to occur

my husband fixed my shark steamer by taking it apart and testing it wire by wire .the problem ?a fuse hidden inside the unit..unscrew the screws and get inside the steamer .at the bottom of the steamer there is a gold orange foil looking piece .under that is a small fuse .unless you can find another fuse just cut that one off and rewire the wires together .shark now comes on
