Nokia CK-7W, nobody can hear me!!

Hi, I have just bought a used car that has a Nokia CK-7W bluetooth. I have a sony erricsson phone but was able to connect no problem. No issues with the radio as when the phone rings the radio automatically mutes, however the caller cant hear me!! This is the same for outgoing calls also. I can hear them clearly though.Any advice?

It sound like a faulty microphone, try and follow the wire to see if it is trapped somewhere, mabe down the side trims.

Reset the Sony Ericcson to Factory settings, by using last option on the phone settings .

Then try pairing again, if it still does not work may be incompatible with the car kit.

Try holding down the big Nokia button for ten seconds till it bleeps, then search on your phone until the phone finds a CK-7W, the passcode is 0000

Have a Nokia 6233 mobile and Nokia CK-7W car kit.Phone still makes/receives calls when using CK-7W but no longer charges battery although phone charging is still OK when using stand alone charger plugged...
the cradles were a very poor design for this phone and the pins on the bottom bend and stick down. try cleaning with a dry toothbrush and check to make sure all pins are up.

I have a nokia ck-7w car kit and people can hear echoing when ever making calls to me.
this is because you are using a non Nokia phone, this kit has old bluetooth software which cannot be updated like newer kits.

Hi i cant get it to flash so i can pair up.it just keeps beeping at me when i hold the button in on my ck-7w bluetooth car kit
you may need to find the main junction box and disconnect it for a few minutes to reset, they commonly lock up and need to be powered down, then hold down the nokia button for 10 seconds till you hear a bleep and it will allow new pairings, the passcode is 0000

Search for bluetooth device from your phone, you should find ck-7w press connect then the passcode is 0000. make sure the ignition is on or press the Nokia button. If this dont work then hold down the Nokiabttton till you hear a long bleep, this will wipe all previous paired phones. then try above again.

not compatable, the nokia kit has very old software and will not work with Iphone, look at Parrot MKI car kits made for Iphone, very good.
