Input Block on my RCA RT2412-E television.

Question edited for clarity.

You state "I tried to play my DVD player in the AV output". It should be the AV Input not the Output on the television. Ideally you should be connected by an HDMI cable!

You need to do a Factory Reset. That should bring back the Default code.

Im a freshmen on a programming course and my assignment is this,my professor wants us to do a program out of this sample input input your name cheryl input birth month july input your birth date...

You will create a program that asks your Name, then your birth month and birth date, you need to store them into the programs memory.

You will have to also store into the program the months / dates for each sign, and then have the program look up the according sign for that date and print it out.

Very very simple. Everything needed to programm the program you should already know? visit your notes / other material from the course and it should be fairly easy for you, unless you have slept all the classes?

We just put new ink in and it prints out fuzzy . how to fix it ?

Every time you replace ink you need to do an alignment. To do this follow these simple steps:
  1. Press the Ink or Ink Management key on the control panel.

  2. Press the up or down navigation key to select TEST PRINT and press Menu/Set or Set.

  3. Press the up or down navigation key to select ALIGNMENT and press Menu/Set or Set.

  4. Press Black (Mono) Start or Color (Colour) Start. The machine begins printing the Alignment Check Sheet.

  5. By reviewing this Test Sheet, you can determine if the alignment needs adjustment.

  6. Examine the 600 DPI and 1200 DPI test prints on the Alignment Check Sheet. If the number 5 sample of both the 600 DPI and 1200 DPI most closely matches the 0 sample, press 1 (YES).
If one of the other samples is a better match for the 0 sample, press 2 (NO). The display will then prompt you to select the sample that most closely matches the 0 sample for 600 DPI and then 1200 DPI.

  7. Press Stop/Exit.

After replacing the ink cartridges ran out I replaced them for new ones and the machine is not telling me that cartridges are empty tried and tried to rereplace them and I still keep getting the same

  1. Press the Menu/Set key.
  2. Press the up or down navigation key until TEST PRINT appears on the LCD.
  3. Press Fax Start. The DCP/MFC begins printing the Print Quality Test Sheet.
  4. By reviewing this Test Sheet, you can determine if the print quality or alignment needs improvement or adjustment.
StepA - Checking the print quality:
  1. The display will read "IS STEP "A" OK?" 1.YES 2. NO.
Before choosing YES or NO, closely examine the print quality of the four color blocks that are formed by short diagonal lines on the Test Sheet.
If all lines are clear and visible, press 1 (YES) and proceed to StepB. If you can see missing short lines, press 2 (NO).

  2. The display will then ask you if the print quality is OK for each color. Press 2(NO) for any color with the problem.

  3. The display will then show START CLEANING? 1.YES 2. NO.
Press 1(YES) and the DCP/MFC will start cleaning the color ink cartridges.

  4. After the cleaning is finished, press Fax Start. The DCP/MFC will print another Print Quality Test Sheet.

  5. If you can see missing short lines in any of the four color blocks press 2 (NO) and repea the quality check and cleaning process. Repeat this procedure at least 5 times if print quality remains a problem. If short lines are still missing after the fifth cleaning and test print, replace the necessary ink cartridges. If the print quality of the 4 color blocks is OK, press 1 (YES).
StepB - Setting the Alignment:
  1. The display will then read "IS STEP "B" OK?".

  2. Examine the 600 DPI and 1200 DPI test prints on the Print Quality Test Sheet. If the number 5 sample of both the 600 DPI and 1200 DPI most closely matches the 0 sample, press 1(YES).
If one of the other samples is a better match for the 0 sample, press 2 (NO). The display will then prompt you to select the sample that most closely matches the 0 sample for 600 DPI and then 1200 DPI.
