Tty I have a problem with my phone. I can't hear anything out of the earpiece, and when i try to turn up the volume or use the speaker for to hear, it says tty mode. I figure turning off the tty mode would make it work again but I don't know how to do it. I looked at the users guide and what it told me to do, did not even exist in my phone. All I did was charge it and uplug it and somehow or another it turned on tty mode. Please help!

pres the 5 key and highlight the Disable selection,
Key in the password: 4889,

Please advise as to how to increase the VOLUME on my DECT 6.0 phone.

To adjust the ringer volume:
  1. With the phone in standby, press ^ or v. The display shows the current volume level and the handset sounds the ringer at that level.
  2. Use ^ to make the ringer volume louder or use v to make it softer or turn it off completely.
  3. When you hear the ringer volume level you want to use, stop pressing keys. The handset will use the new ringer volume starting with the next incoming call.
Note: If you set the ringer volume to Off, the handset won't ring. If you have any accessory handsets, other handsets will ring according to their individual settings.

To adjust the earpiece volume:

You can choose from six volume levels for the handset earpiece. To adjust the earpiece volume while on a call, press ^ to make it louder or v to make it softer. The handset display shows the current volume level for the earpiece.

To adjust the speaker volume:

You can choose from six volume levels for the handset speaker while on a speakerphone call. To adjust the handset speaker volume, press ^ to make it louder or v to make it softer. The handset display shows the current volume level for the handset speaker.

Note: The handset earpiece and the handset speaker have separate volume settings.

Can hear caller on speaker on but not on headset. when someone calls and i answer i cannot hear them on the headset only on speaker. voice volume is all the way up.

The headset speaker is faulty, the earpiece.
So open the phone and make a audio test on the earpiece , If the sensitivity is low the earpiece speaker is faulty.
replace or try with a salvaged on frrom an old phone. Now you are confirmed. If not there can be issues in the board, the preamplifier.

I cant hear anything on my nokia 6500s expect on speaker

Hello,

The problem with your phone is the earpiece, since you have adjusted and try increase the volume, yet, same problem. The earpiece on your phone is bad that is why you cannot hear the party calling you or hear anything while you call.

All you need to do is to replace the earpiece on your phone and you will see that you can hear whoever you are talking to on your phone.

Replace the earpiece on your phone and you will see that the problem is solved. meanwhile, you can keep using the headset pending the time you will replace the earpiece.

Take care.

I can't hear the person talking on the phone earpiece. The volume is on high and the speaker phone works fine?

Sir/Maam,

It can be that the earpiece is broken. Try calling someone without using any earpiece, if that works that proves the earpiece is damaged or broken.

If that doesn't work, then the speaker in your phone must be damaged.

Hope i helped you, thanks.

No sound whatsoever on LG KG800 Chocolate Phone

easiest way to solve this problem. go to call settings and TTY mode. and switch it to TTY + talk ... if that doesnt work then fiddle around with the other TTY settings untill it does. this disables the earpiece
