Copies made are totally black. what do i do? i changed cartridged, put in new paper then copied. it copied fine after 20pages, copy sounded like it was jamming up, paper came out with some parts black. checked to see if anything jammed, nothing. then continued to copy, the next page came out totally black. turned equipment off, let it cool, then copied again, again copy came out totally black. left it over night turned off power. copied again following morning, again copy came out totally black. what do i do?

Hello limay_uera

Please check your Printer setup. or options ( I am not familiar with this printer. what terms they use- I'm not sure) Ther will be options for Print in Color or Black. Make sure the radio button for COLOR is checked. This way, black and color both will print in the correct color. So leave it on color even when you want to print in Black. The black radio button is there for a different reason.

There is a good chance that your color ink cartridge needs replacement. You can tray wetting a paper towel and putting in the microwave for 5 to 10 seconds then placing the cartridge on it for a few minutes. This sometimes will correct that type of problem...Be careful the paper towel will be hot (handle with care).

Paper comes out black when printing and copying.

A. The drum is not being charged. The charger corona wire is probably broken or not making good electrical contact. The charger corona wire may be part of the toner cartridge. Try uninstalling and reinstalling the toner cartridge. If that doesn’t work, try another toner cartridge.

My brother fax machine - only receives black pages

do a quick check on 2 things.
- Copy a document(put a printed page on document feeder and press Copy button) , has the Copy come ok? if copy is also blank that means toner/ink problem, needs to be replaced.

- check with your Fax receive Print settings. is any setting of econo mode/ contrast/brightness Off the track? If found any of such issue then Reset it or put it on average (middle).

Black splatters all over paper

Have you changed the cartridge? Sounds like a bad seal after it was refiled or the nozzle went bad on the black ink. Try replacing the cartridge.

My copy machine will just print a totally black sheet of paper.

Pull out your toner cartridge, push back the drum shutter and see if the drum is coated in toner. If so, it is defective. Replace it and it will be fine.

Xerox docucolor 12 copy/print printing all black

Hi,
If you moved the printer, make sure the conections from the printer to the Fiery are secure. If loose the prints will be black but when copying will be fine.

Sharp Al-800 Skewed Copies

one problem with this machine, a small pin comes out on the paper release handle in the back, which lets on side of the paper lift tray to come up higher than the other. might look in that area. good luck

400S Black lines at top of copy

Sounds like the drum is worn out. Usually do 60-70K before replacement. Shading more noticeable at top of copy. Could also before worn upper fuser roller.
