The machine always went straight to all lights flashing when switched on [not only start light illuminated alone].

We had to shell out £100 for someone to fit a new 'programme board'.

At least the machine is operational again.

I bought a second hand Dyson CR01 Memory Flow in the interim and that is serving very well. Fantastic capacity. It's four years old. Dyson replaced the drum and a couple of peripherals last year for the previous owner.
