Hi! Sadly this phone is only available with Verizon, so they built it so you couldn't change sims (you actually don't need it physically to work). I'm guessing you want to use it with another company? This special phones wont work with any other network (they can't be unlocked since there's no sim to be swapped).

Any GSM phone can be "unlocked" by swapping the SIM card.

There are also a few companies who offer unlock codes for sale, to swap providers...but there are even more scammers in this market who sell lots of juicy promises and deliver even less.

Your safest bet is to get a new SIM card from Cricket...Just plug it in, and your phone is on their network.

On the AT&T Network, to unlock the LG Vu or CU920, it’s pretty simple:
Put a AT&T or Cingular SIM in the phone; it does not have to be an active SIM
Enter *#865625# then the 16 digit unlock code*
Device should say: Network Lock Deactivated
Phone may automatically reboot

*The 16 digit code can be obtained by calling AT&T Technical Support and given the representative the IMEI number. In exchange they will give you the Subsidy Unlock Code.
