GFI outlet main fuse trips even if nothing is plugged in and it will not reset. I can't use any of my GFI's....help
Switching power supplies are known to cause such "false" tripping in some cases. These power supplies often employ RF filtering using capacitors from line to ground, resulting in current leakage that when large enough can trip a GFCI. See item 6 at the following URL:

Hi there, there is a shorted electronic parts at your power supply, fuse allways blows means a shorted diode, regulator and a transistor. it should be replace, do some testing and replace the defective parts. ty
hello, GFI outlet main fuse trips? was it a circuit braker switch? if so, just turn it on and off until the switch is soft enogh to switch. ty
hello there, there maybe a short circuit to the electrical line or outlet, unplug those plug connected to the outlet and test the circuit braker if ok. do some test one by one. ty

whoa, diode, regulator and transistor. I am pretty handy, but that sounds like an electricians job. Do you think I could do it .... I can install fixtures, replace fuses, replace outlets that type of stuff.....
I have reset the circuit breaker switch dozens of times.
