I want to block a particular number from calling my mobile. My cellphone unit is Sony Ericsson. I dont want to use the feature "accept calls" because if i will do that, i may not receive unknown important calls and overseas calls as well.So if i would choose None to block this number which i already removed from my contacts, he would not be able to call my number anymore..but the problem is, those numbers which are not listed from my contacts as well will not be able to reach me.. I only want to block this particular number. How can i solve this problem with my handset..

In the dialer application there's a 'Black List' option, but you have to have the Call Display feature enabled.

settings -> call settings -> call blocking

1. Flip open your cell phone and go to the phone's menu.

   Select "Settings" and scroll down to "Calls."

   Select "Manage Calls" and then choose "Accept Calls."

   Choose to accept "All Calls," "Calls from a list" or "None." If you choose to accept calls from a list, you will have to create your list of accepted callers. This is easy. You will just scroll through your contacts and select numbers you want to accept

You want to block a number on your SonyEricsson W610i ?

Well, you can do this in 4 ways:--
1) Edit your profile to ring only for those numbers which are in the contact list. This will not inform you when a call from anonymous number arrives.

2) There're some applications available in market which will give you this feature. Download the application from mobiles24.com or from mobiles9.com

3) You can do Call Baring feature which is in the settings page to block the calls. Note: it'll block all calls. Or you can use Call Forward feature also. For this give a fake or any other non-active number to forward.

4) Contact your Network Provider for blocking a particular number.


Follow any of the options shown as your relevancy.

I am sorry but there is no such function on this phone. However, there is a white list option. You can accept calls only from numbers on this white list (and everything else will be blocked)..

Hi there.. block the incoming call barring feature. we can restrict incoming calls and add prefered people who are allowed to call. this feature is present on most sony ericsson phones.

to enable it go to settings->call settings->manage calls->accept calls. add the allowed people phone no.s in the list and turn on the "only from list" you will not get call from people except one in the list.
