If you have verizon, you need to turn GPS services to location on (options, advanced options, GPS) and you need to make all the permissions for the program "Allow"
Make sure that the arrow is pointing to the batteries, and that the cube is ALL the way to the bottom of the socket, with no space between it and the bottom at ALL. I suggest twisting the plug left and right while pushing down with your thumb.
The GolfLogix 7 had a problem that if you did a reset to factory defaults it wiped out the Almanac in the GPS. This is the Table of where the satelites are. Put in a fresh set of battery's....turn it on and put it out in the open sky for 4 to 8 hours. Sometimes this will work. If not contact Golflogix Tech Support. They ill probable ship you a replacement unit.
hi what you need to do is take out the battery then restart the device if it works all good if it does not work trun off the deivice and throw it out the window in the garbage
