How to fix my huffy rock it bicycle

Sounds like you may not tightening it down tight. should have about 1/2 play in it. If that dont do it you might look at the sprockets ( bent or missing teeth ) or may need a new chain. Hope that helps you. Good luck. Vern

New Rancher 455. Ran for a few minutes then tried to tighten chain but adjuster was maxed out (completely tight clockwise). Removed cover, now can't get tension adjusting pin in hole in bar....pin sits...

Ok.. with the cover off the clutch you notice the screw and the pin that is suppose to go into the hole.. with the chain on the bar back the screw until the pin sits in the hole of the bar.. The chain should be lose you will see the chain dangle at the bottom of the bar.. put the cover back on with it lose.. hand tighten the two nuts that hold the cover on. with the bar in hand and you pulling the bar up make sure the two nuts are on tight enough so the bar does not move but dont over tighten it. tighten the screw you will notice the chain starting to move, and start to tighten up.. once the chain is in the grove of the bar grab the chain and move the chain with your hand to make sure you have not over tighten it. if the chain moves freely and is not lose ( you can also double check how tight it is by grabbing the chain below the bar and letting it go if it snaps back into the bar and doesnt hang there you are where you need to be.) tighten the two nuts up on the cover and start up the saw. Run the saw to make sure everything is all set and nothing is lose before cutting.. If the chain never get to tighten up you need a new chain. buy a new chain and follow the steps again. let me know if you have any questions

Loose chain

dont know if you already have an answer for this but... If you take off the chain guard (where the bar connects to the saw body) there should be 2 nuts in line with each other. Losen the nuts and pull the bar forward (away from the saw) and then retighten the nuts. You need to leave a slight belly of slack in the chain so it does not bind. Hope this helps. D

I have a problem inside of my 2000 Yamaha R6 having to do with the chain assembly. I want to know whats causing the ticking sound that increases when I accelerate. I tightened the chain too much initially...

Sounds like either the chain or sprockets are worn out. If you just put a new chain on old sprockets, that is the problem.
I dont think you could over torque anything to create a ticking sound. The nut that holds the countershaft sprocket (front) on to the transmission shaft would strip if it were over tightened, not click.

49cc kids ATV trouble shooting

in order to tighten your chain you can take a link off which would involve using a grinder, if you dont have one than go to an atv store and ask them to do it. theres a clip on the chain which holds it togther, remove the clip without damaging it than just pop the link off. that will take the chain off. i dont know what type off atv you have so there are probably bolts that hold pull the back end to tighten the chain look for those and if you can find them than tighten them.

for your engine do an oil change and drain out the carborator. if you need more help let me know.

Loose chain on Husqvarna 41

first you have to loosen the two bolts on the brake cover . next find the flathead screw located next to the begining of the bar on the inside, facing engine. turning the screw will bring the bar out or in. remember you dont want the chain super tight you want it loose. usually just enough to let the teeth slide a little bit off the bar. once you have the chain were you want it tighten both bolts, and be careful not to move the bar as your tightening. i hope this helps, let me know if you dont understand something i said clearly.
