MANY TIME A PERSON DIALS WITHOUT REALIZING THAT THE ACCEPTANCE CODE NEEDS TO BE INSERTED FIRST THE Nortel T7316E?...If you want to temporarily turn them off use do not disturb (feature 85, feature #85 to turn Do Not Distrub off) Turning off the ringing permanently will require you to program the set. To Turn On or Off Do Not Disturb:

1. Press the DND key or press the Feature button, then 85

2. To turn it off: Press the DND key or the Feature button, then #85

You can enable the "do not disturb" feature by pressing Feature 85. To cancel, press Feature # 85.

FEAT 85 should be DND FEAT #85 cancels.

The do not disturb might be active on the extension that your trying to transfer to.On the extension that your trying to transfer to, enter feature #85 to cancel out do not disturb.

FEATURE 85 sets "Do Not Disturb", and to cancel any feature, add a # sign.

FEATURE # 85 will cancel it. :)

Feature 69 is priority call.
