My controller is original dualshock3,...the stick and the pad when i turn on the ps3 on the xmb menu it rapidly goes stuck to the left any ideas before i buy another ps3...HURRY!!! i won't hold much longer!!!

Best advice that can be given, take it to a video game store or other related repairman. If you're not sure on the interior of ps3 controllers, you could wreck it even more trying to fix it, even off a tutorial. From what you said, however, it might just be cheaper to buy a new controller alltogether.

You plug in the usb cable to charge the controller and connect it to the ps3 for the first time. You use the left analog stick to move around the dashboard when the ps3 is turned on and the 'X' button to change settings, go to the online browser, playstation store, or start a game. You can back out by pressing 'O' or holding the 'PS' button, which allows you to change a controller number (say controller #1 to #2 with two controllers), turn off the system or turn off the controller. Press (not hold) the controller to look around the dashboard while in a game and select say "Quit Game', or go into settings and change something around to your liking. Every game also comes with the controls and for what the buttons are. (Stick on left is the, "Left Analog Stick," right is "Right Analog Stick," from right to left starting at the green triangle shaped button is the, "Triangle," "Circle," "X," and "Square," buttons. The four buttons on the left going in all directions is the D-pad, and the triggers on the back going from the top left to bottom left and top right to bottom right are, "L1," "L2," "R1," "R2").

You could open up the controller and find the source of the jam and get rid of it.

the circular thing that lets it move freely probably cracked, making it harder to move. i had to buy a new controller because of this reason.

On the top back of the controller is a small hole next to screw use a paper clip to press and hold the button for 10 seconds then plug your controller back into the PS3 with the PS3 on and turn the controller on. This resets the controller and then pairs it with the PS3.

am sure about the computer part but for the xmb i can help reset ur ps3 by turning it on then turn it off by holding the buttonthen it back on by holding the power button it should beep pause and beep 2x this will reset ur display option back to normal then ur cables make a difference if ur using a SD TV use regular cables if HDTV use hd cables only on hdtv if use on SDtv it won't display or ur ps3 is set to an hd setting like 1080p it won't display on a sdtv so reset ur ps3 by holdin power button hope this help u

if youve put rapid fire on ur controller and it goes left its because when u went in to wire the rapid fire u put the part that controls the left analog in one quarter of a full turn to the left from where its meant to be. so open up ur controller and flip it the right way.

harddrive is not posting. your icon information and xmb menu is stored on partition 1 of harddrive..try to change hardrive or they may be bridged connection on SATA controller

i need to talk to another tec. about payment issues do u really get pad off this sight i mean real cash in the mail i just need to no has any body received a payment yet
