Cant turn it down due to not having a remote. Ive got a universal which controls everything else but not the volume. How can i turn it down without using a remote? I only have three buttons on the front of the tv, " av p- p+ " If i hold both of the p- and p+ together the volume option comes up but i cant do anything else and its just stuck on high volume. Please help me The model number is wharfdale M2126

PaulTulsa is actually incorrect, Directv remotes do allow this function. I had this problem too... but was able to fix it. You have to go back into the system settings menu. Depending on your receiver (I have the hr21-100) press "Menu" then scroll to "Parental, Fav's & Setup" then "Sytem Setup" then "Remote" then select "Program Remote". Scroll to "TV" then select the brand name (I also have a Samsun tv). Follow the directions to change the code of the remote and manually go through the codes they have posted. The second one worked for me. Good luck.
