Gas Range lighter continously triggers

Our Gas Kitchen range with built-in electric lighter started this problem about two weeks ago. It continuously triggers even after lighting the burner. To avoid the annoying "tick, tick, tick" sound I have unplugged it from the electric outlet and started using matches to light the range.

If anyone knows a fix for this problem please let me know.

Thanks

My parents have a lofra 90cm gas stove and can't find the electric start for it. They are using a lighter to ignite it.

Purchased a Savoir-faire free-standing stove (model C900) about 5 years ago and need to replace the rubber seal (2270mm). Brand doesn't exist any more - where can I source this product?

After baking and trying to set time bake a week ago, the range won't turn on at all. Nothing happens when we press bake, broil, convect bake, etc. The clock, lights, fan, timer and cook top still work.

the oven controller in the main service/selection panel has either a bad solder joint on the circuits or the start realy for the oven on the same circuit board is bad and you have to replace the whole panel you cannot just buy the relay

Thermador rdss30rs xlo burners don't light and right side burners don't light either. can light right side with lighter. while burners are on igniter spark continously.

IF THE BURNERS DO NOT IGNITE
• Are the burner caps properly aligned and seated in the burner bases?
• Are the burner ports clogged?
• Is a fuse blown or is the circuit breaker tripped?
• Is the manual shut-off valve closed, preventing the flow of gas?

GE gas range igniter continues to spark, won't shut off.

Often times, just leaving the range unplugged for a time will solve the problem, which is most often caused by water or a cleaning agent getting into an igniter switch behind a burner knob. After the switch drys out it usually starts working again. In the mean time, you can still use the burners by lighting them manually with one of those long lighters, but you will not be able to use the oven or broiler without electricity. If the range continues to spark after being left unplugged for more than a day or two, you will have to determine which switch behind the burner knobs is causing the problem. Please don't bother rating, as anything but a Fix-Ya will lower my score. Thanks.

Range Top Pilot Lights

use a bar-b-que lighter with a loing handle to lite pilot, and yes if the pilot goes out there will be a constant supply of gas going inot home, very minimal amount but as a cumiltve effect not very smart thing.

GE profile gas stove igniter don't stop igniting

take a look at the igniter located in the center of two burners. clean the gap with a stiff brush between the eletrode and the upper plate. the distance is preset at the factory. you may have enough buildup to close the gap enough to trigger the igniter.

GE Profile Spectra XL 44 gas oven

If you can smell the gas when you turn on the oven, it may be on a separate igniter that has gone bad. I would check this first. If you are not getting gas to the oven, there is possibly an issue with the supply line.
