Im sure you can get them but be very carful because thats where the leads join to the screen to give you pictur. To be honest I would bring it to a repair center and that if there is a problem you have come back...

Both hinges on my PC have popped out and disconnected the screen from the keyboard. I don't know what to do. I've been trying to put them back in myself, but nothing is working. I've resorted...

I hear you... this is like the only thing that breaks on these A45's and its corporate brother - A40's: always starts from the left hinge and if you don't take care of it, the right hinge goes, too. These hinges are the hardest things to find in the world (it's the only part that breaks) I'd try eBay - you can probably get a whole, used machine (either an A40, or A45, and I'd prefer the WiFi ready models) with good hinges for $40 bucks or thereabouts, and put your hard drive, memory into the replacement machine and use it. Hope that makes sense.

Oh, and Toshiba no longer carry these parts so new ones are kinda out of the question.

The monitor on my Toshiba P25-S5093 does not have any display of any kind; all black. I have display using external monitor.

Hi,
Does the display show anything before you enter windows? If yes, then press the key to transfer video back to your original screen once you enter windows. It should be the function key "Fn" + F5 - F8. looks for the icon which shows a monitor or says "CRT/LCD".
If it doesn't show anything before you enter windows I'm afraid your screen needs to be replaced. Good luck.

Where can I find hinge parts or a new hinge for my Toshiba Satellite A15 S157 close to the 95023 area?

New hinges are gonna cost you more than the laptop's worth. Used hinges you can buy off of eBay - not always available since the hinges in this entire series have been breaking since the day they were sold. Ain't a pretty picture, for sure.

How do I replace the keyboard?

next to the F1 key and the windows key (2nd upper key and second to last key) are two screws, usually under some covering. unscrew and lift top edge of the keyboard towards the trackpad to lay face down. Undo the wire ribbon by lifting the grey or brown tabs and remove ribbon and keyboard. Then install the new keyboard by inserting the ribbon on the place. Lock down with the tabs and put the plastic prongs (close to the space bar) into the laptop body first, and then close keyboard onto the final position. screw back in and thats all. [email protected] for any additional questions.

How to change lcd screen on toshiba satellite 2455-s305? need to change the screen on my toshiba laptop.....looking for step by step instructions on how to remove old screen and can not find anything...

Open the screen as far as it will go naturally. (should lay almost flat with the base) Using flat screwdriver, pry up the hinge cover on the base....there should be two groves to get under it......dont worry you wont break it as long as you dont force it too much, just keep working it till it some off........now you will a set of hinges, prolly with the screws on each hinge.......remove those...........next theres a cable connecting the LCD, you must make sure you remove this one carefully, as not to damage the connectino on the base......on some models, yo must also remove the keyboard by removing the screws associated with it as well.....once again, dont worry, its all cut and dry, and pretty self explanatory once you get those first few pieces and screws off.......once that wire is disconnected you have completely removed your laptops LCD!!!!!! :D GOOD LUCK AND PLS RATE THIS POST!!!!!!
