When we print a configuration page (Black&White) it prints out fine with no streaks. If we print anything with color it leaves streaks (all colors) down the entire length of the page. Replaced fuser unit, transfer unit, toner cartridges - everything we could think of - no luck. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Printer is a Ricoh Aficio CL4000DN.
This is a laser printer, neither a copier nor a multifunction unit, therefore it has no glass. At least, I cannot find any glass in it.
I finally had an authorized Ricoh repair center examine it and found streaks on the black unit that pulls out of the right side (I forget the part's name, <$90). We replaced it and things are better but streaks of color remain. They suggested replacing the color one (about $400) but the cost is prohibitive right now, so I'll live with those streaks.
On a related note, I remain unimpressed with this printer's quality and inconsistency. For example, greys often print in pink; nothing has ever resolved this. I refuse to put any more money into it. When I can afford to do so, it will be replaced, probably by a Xerox Phaser.
My rep advised that if this problem is occuring when using the feeder, the small glass strip to the left of the glass can have some sort of either high lighter or white out stuck to it. He suggests cleaning this with some alcohol.

I have the same problem. Replaced fuser, streaks are still there. I can now see streaks of color on the "spongy" roller that was replaced with the fuser. Perhaps toner is leaking.
To the poster above, I found this site after searching for a solution to my Xerox Phaser streaking. Very unimpressed with this model also.
