I have a Kent KC-245 commercial vacuum that needs 2 new belts. does anyone have any tips on where to buy them?

Just about any vac shop should have the belt. This belt is the same belt used in the upright vacs as well as the power nozzels. The new oem part number is 48359.

the belt is broke. you can buy a new one for around 5-10 dollars at target or walmart, or loews or homedepot.take the screws of the bottom panel to expose belt. you will have to pull out the beater bar to replace the belt. just pull on it after the bottom plate is removed the beater bar just slides out. slide the new belt down the beater bar then pull the belt over the spinning pin. now stretch the beater back to its original position it should slide right in. replace the bottom plate and your back in business

We had a Sebo X1 Automatic for 13 years, similar to Riccar but more simplistic, large bags and brilliant for pets (clearing up after 2 rottweilers, 1 westie and a cat). Shop around for Sebo if you are after an upright vacuum - though it uses bags it is far healthier and Sebo have GHI and endless awards for their reliability. Currently Im running a Sebo Felix as a second upright vac in the home , has a much smaller dirt capacity but over the two, I'd say the X range is the best. In the U.S/Canada Sebo are available as are the commercial version which is just as good known as Windsor-Sebo.

there is a plate on the underside covering belt and beater roller
2-3 screws to secure the plate
then withdraw the roller
put new belt round roller
insert roller
pull belt around motor pulley
reinstall plate
