We donot subscribe to voice mail,but every time a callcomesin that should go to answering recording it goes to voice mail and we can't retreive it.

Maybe the answering machine is set to pick up at say"5 rings" and the voice mail is set to pickup at "4 rings" . Change the voicemail setting to a higher setting than the answering machine. That may be the problem.

You're apparently subscribed to a voicemail system provided by your telephone company. This system records messages when people call while you're already on the phone. Please contact your telephone company for instructions on accessing their voicemail system.

really depends on which voicemail you have. I will assume you have the toshiba voicemail. call voicemail, when it answers press * should ask for your user ID enter 999 and use 999997 as sec code or 999. press 8 then 6 and enter time

the panasonic KX-t7630 doesnt have a answering machine and runs through voice mail.. if you have voice mail set up simple dial your number for voice mail (eg. 500) press 311, then record greeting at the end of tone. hope that helps

- Change the number of rings of the
voice mail service so that the
answering system can answer the

Many people confuse voice mail with answering machines. Most of the time if you have voicemail that is provided by your phone company you will hear a stuttered dial tone when you pic up the reciever. If this is what you hear you should call the service provider and they will explain how to retreive your messages and delete the old ones. Are you able to listen to you messages? If you have voice mail, you do not need the answering machine turned on on your phone.
