Help my dell is not displaying but the front led is showing the power light on CPU but is not displaying on the monitor and i have used working RAM on the Computer but the problem is the same, kindly help...

If you do not hear a post beep sound, then you may have an issue with the motherboard and/or processor. I suggest you either take it in for repair or replace yourself

If you hear the post beep sound, then listen for the sequence of beeps. This should indicate what is wrong with the machine. Generally(Note: these may be different with motherboard and/or bios type).
  • sequential long beeps indicate RAM issues
  • 1 long followed by two short indicate a display adapter issue

No display on monitor,No cd drive ejecting but cpu fan is running and power on led light is in green in mother board ,No beep sounds Can anybody Know the problem of my motherboard? Help me guys

Hi
This is a difficult one without knowledge of specifics. However here goes. The absence of beep codes would indicate that the motherboard is getting through its POST routine OK, although some boards give a single beep when the POST is completed and the absence of this beep indicates a problem on these boards.
The CD drive not ejecting can be that there is no power to it. Does it have a light on it during POST. If so it is probably just stuck. Try using a straightened paperclip in the very small hole in the fascia plate.
Now to graphics, I am sure you have checked that the computer to monitor cable is firmly connected at both ends, and if the computer has two graphics ports, that it is plugged into the correct one. Does your graphic card have a separate power supply, if so is this securely seated? The way to test the graphics is to connect another monitor that is known to work into the computer and seeing if you get a picture. If you do then the monitor you are using is faulty.
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya
Cheers

"I tried to install another internal HDD + another 256 RAM (both of them are used) to my computer, operating XP with an ASUS P5P800S motherboard. When I ran the system, the new device was found by the sys....

The hard drive would not show up until you initialize it in the control panel. With everything off the motherboard you should get some post beep. Put the ram back and try again, the next thing to install is the video to see if there is any indication of function. Keep adding things back. If there is no post beep with just the motherboard then you need to test the PSU and if it is OK then CPU or motherboard is bad.

I have a toshiba satellite p305d-s8828 laptop and have 19dc @ plug going into main board and 19dc on motherboard. Is the motherboard fired? And no power on computer.

Since you have measured the voltage on the motherboard I must presume you are saying there is no power "indicator light" on computer. If this is not the case please clarify. If the light is absent please test the battery as these laptops are not designed to work without a battery or with a dead battery. Operating without a battery can spike the motherboard or other components and cause failure due to overvoltage. If you do have a power indicator light then next observe whether the bootup is proceeding with a beep after the POST (power on self test) and whether you can hear the movement of the hard disk drive... possibly indicating failed LCD display or display drivers/setup. Press F8 after the POST beep to get to safe mode display drivers.

Alarms

Hello, find the BIOS Beep Codes at http://www.amptron.com/html/bios.beepcodes.html and try to find your problem. It is not a software or Monitor problem. It could be RAM or Video Card failure
