Cant login with my yahoo messenger.it says problem with internet connection but i already checked it and the connection is ok.help me how can i connect to my yahoo messenger.

Hello. You can probably fix this condition by following these steps:

1. Click on the gear icon in the upper-right of the IE window
2. Click on Internet Options
3. Click on the Advanced tab
4. In the Settings window, scroll all the way down to "Use TLS 1.0" and make sure that is checked.
5. Click Apply, then OK.

That should fix it for you. This is due to a recent change in how Yahoo handles login requests.

First check you correctly type your username and password.
Check if you have internet connection.
if still cant connect try to uninstall and reinstall your yahoo messenger.
If you already did the steps above and you still cant sign in to yahoo, the last thing you will so is call your ISP provider if they have any technical issue that mat affect your connection. Maybe they have selective browsing issue or problem connecting to yahoo.

Yahoo Messenger relies on Internet Explorer for its connectivity settings. It could be possible that some IE settings where changed.

Try checking on the proxy settings.

Here's how to go there:

Open Internet Explorer
Click on Tools
Click on Internet Options
Click on the Connections Tab
Click on LAN Settings
You will see 4 checkboxes, all boxes should not be checked
After correcting settings, just click on OK

Reinstall Yahoo Messanger.

I suggest you to check whether your email address and password is correct or not, by logging in at the www.yahoomail.com website, If you are able to login then your account exists and the email address and password is correct.
If it shows wrong password, try forgot password.

If you are able to login to your account in website, only you cannot login in yahoo messenger, There might be some problem in yahoo messenger, I suggest you to download the recent version of yahoo messenger and try logging in, if problem persists check your internet connectivity, Sometimes we couldn't login if there is a problem in internet connection.
There may also be problem with windows firewall settings.

And also check whether the yahoo messenger is added as exception in the windows firewall or not, If not add the yahoo messenger to exception list.

error 81003004 is a connection problem,
Connection Problems;
1. Open your Internet Explorer
2. Go to Tools > Internet Options then click the Connections tab
3.Click the LAN Settings button and a new dialog box will open
4. At the new dialog box, look for the Proxy server checkbox, if this is checked, uncheck it.check connect directly to internet then click ok
5. Then your done, click OK button for the dialog boxes.
6. Try logging in to your Yahoo Messenger account.

You might have some options to fix it: firstly; this error occurs when your connection preferences are not properly set. I'm not talking about your Yahoo! ID and Password here, but you may need to adjust certain features depending on what network you're on. Maybe, i think you should check your firewall settings. If you use Personal Firewall, make sure it allows your connection to receiving incoming connections and allows you to use yahoo messenger,check it out, may be it blocked your yahoo messenger. if a firewall protects your network, it may block yahoo messenger when it tries to connect to the server. You need to change your connection settings, click the Messenger menu in yahoo messenger and select Connection Preferences. Select Firewall With No Proxies. Select your Internet Connection type from the pull-down menu at the bottom and enter your Home Country if the adoptions aren’t grayed out. Click OK and login again using the new settings. If this option doesn’t work, click Connection Preferences in Yahoo! Messenger again and select No Network Detection. Try to login again using the new settings. Click OK and login again using the new settings.Or other way, open your Internet Explorer>Go to File>Then, 'uncheck Work Offline', make sure your Internet connection is not working offline. Then, close Internet Explorer, try to sign in your yahoo messenger.thirdly, if you are using IM9 there are sign in problems. This is what yahoo has to say. Try an updated version of Yahoo! Messenger 9.0(9.0.0.2128). This latest build includes a fix for the sign-in issues that have been affecting some users. try reinstalling the yahoo messenger again,

i too had the same problem ,

and i checked by signing in yahoomail.com to check whether it was a password problem or not, but it was not,

ultimately it was some kind of problem in messenger,

got it fixed bye reinstaling it.

maybe work for you too

as far as wat i did to my YM.

i simply checked the connection preferences and turned

"Connect via a proxy server."

then select

"HTTP proxy"

after that take a look at your internet connection dropdown list..

some mistakes are seen here.. instead of having the "broadband" connection selected the "dial-up" connection was chosen by YM itself..
