Dont know how to set the time for the alarm, but to switch it off press and hold the menu button until it asks if you want to reset the radio and then follow the instructions. It means you have to reset radio every time but at least it stops pesky alarm going off...
I have the same problem. The manual doesn't mention an alarm, but there definitely is and it switches the radio on at midnight every night. it's a pain in the ****
Sainsburys site says it doesnt have an Alarm but I can testify that it does as for the last three nights I have been scared s***less at midnight by big dubstep on radio1 very LOUDLY!
I'm not sure how the alarm got set but the night it first started going off the buttons were misbehaving very strangely.

There is no alarm, but it states on the box that there is ! I took mine back and got a refund
There definitely IS an alarm, it's just not mentioned in the manual.
