Turn off the computer, pull the ram and get three more of the exact same type. If it's 72 pin (standard) 2400, then get the same. Preferrably the same brand. When you load identical memory, some motherboards offer you the option of pairing the ram to get faster response.

    System Memory

Your system will take four gigs of either single or double sided density, non ECC ram. It will run dual or single channel. It is DDR 333 or DDR 400.

    Good Luck!

Memory upgrade

The RAM limit depends on the OS, for example XP and vista 32-bit can only use 4GB max. you must check the current RAM you have to see if its DDR or DDR2, just take that to your local tech and then he/she/they will let you know. Then just buy some more RAM. **WARNING** you cannot use DDR2 in a DDR motherboard and vice versa

RAM Capacity of Motherboard MS 6166

unfortunately there are no sites with info on this board, but similair ones can take upto 512MB of ram, but you would be wise trying a matching 128MB stick in the other slot. You will have to visit a computer fair to get hold of sdram or try ebay.
