Using the button at bottom left of watch, set to the alarm mode and press the button at bottom right to toggle between alarm settings. The bell and wave symbols will appear and disappear on top left of watch display.

I have a waveceptor. I have to go to the alarms definition and turn off (and turn back on if I want) the alarm. Just pressing a button when the alarm goes off just turns off the beeping temporarily, but the watch still considers the alarm active and will go off again in 5 minutes until you actually turn off the alarm.

According to the Oregon Scientific SE233 Manual,

To activate/deactivate your alarm:
Press SET to move your cursor to select Alarm 1 or 2
and ST/SP+ to turn on/off the alarm

Waves (next to the bell) will show when alarm is activated and vice versa.

I tried it. It worked-finally.

Paradox Alarm MG10LEDH: How to turn off the alarm that keep going off every hour at the same time after set it to arm

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your Paradox alarm. Unfortunately, without access to the specific manual or programming instructions for your MG10LEDH model, I am unable to provide you with the exact code to stop the alarm from going off every hour.
However, it is possible that the issue may be related to the alarm's timer settings or an automatic test mode that has been activated. You may want to try checking the alarm's programming manual for instructions on how to disable any automatic test modes or adjust the timer settings.
If you are unable to find a solution on your own, I recommend contacting the manufacturer or a certified Paradox alarm technician for assistance. They should be able to provide you with more specific instructions or diagnose and fix any issues with your alarm system.

How do you turn off the alarm on a timex marathon wr50m watch?

1. Press Mode- and set it on the alarm.
2. When you are here, press the start/stop button and the little alarm signal will change. If it is dark, the alarm is on. If you keep pressing the stop/start button the darkness will go away, meaning the alarm is now off.

I am trying to get out of army time for my digital wrist watch, and there is an alarm that keeps coming off that I don't know how to stop. I'm not sure of the brand...i bought it at Wal Mart about...

Your watch should have a "mode" button (often at 8 o'clock) and this enters the settings menu so that you can change them. keep pressing the mode button until you reach the setting you want to change.

You should be able to find a setting that says something like "24". Experiment with the remaining buttons to change the setting. The display should change to "12".

Press the mode button to find the setting for the alarm (Often abbreviated to "AL" or "ALM"?).Again experiment with the buttons to either remove the alarm or or change it form "ON" to "OFF".

Changing the values of the setting is often done by pressing the 4 O'clock button but if this does not work, try the one at 2 O'clock.

Instructions for Armitron All Sport 40/6623 time setting needed.

Here's how you set the 40/6623 M175 for anything. I figured it all out with help from here :). Okay so want to set the alarm? Press MODE once. Then hold it. And use the DATE and ALARM buttons to set the alarm. Press MODE twice and you're done. To set time do the step before this and press MODE once. Use the DATE and ALARM button to set the time. As for the 24 hr deal what you do is hold ALARM and press MODE or hold MODE and press DATE. To turn alarm on/off hold ALARM button and then press the DATE button. To set the date go to time set mode and keep cycling between the hours and mins until you get to the date :). That's all you gotta do :D. I know many of you need the instructions so here it is!!

How do i get my watch to not beep on the hour

Press the mode button until you come the alarm setting mode(s) and turn the hourly alarm off by pressing one of the other buttons.

You may have to experiment on which is the alarm setting you want as the alarm name is likely to be abbreviated.

Have patience and keep trying!

Since I don't know the make of your watch I cannot give you any more precise guidance than this.

If you have no luck in sorting it out, tell me what make of is your watch and I will try to find the user instructions

I have a seiko chonograph couturo alarm. 100m

Many of the Seiko Chronographs have the same setting options (mine is the lightweight "Titanium Sports").

First off, the alarm dial must show the same time as the actual main dial. If not you must adjust this first.

Pull the knob at number 4 position on the watch face out, until you feel two distinct notches/clicks (around 0.5mm travel) and the alarm will make a shrill buzzing for about 1 second.

Now turn the #4 knob to move the small alarm dial at the #6, to be the same as the actual time displayed on the main face, and press the #4 knob fully back in. This sets the alarm and the main time to the same ....er....time. You do not need to do this again, unless you adjust for daylight saving times during summer/winter.

Now you can set the alarm chime point.

Pull the #4 knob out again, but just one click. You should hear one ping from the alarm. Now press the button at #8 position. It will move the small alarm hands by 1 minute intervals, and if you keep it held in, the dial spins around quickly. This allows you to adjust the time the alarm will chime.

When you've got the alarm time and it's chime point set, leave the #4 knob at one click out.

If you wish to switch the alarm off simply press the #4 knob back in, and the alarm dial will spin around to the same time as the main dial.To re-enable the alarm pull the #4 out one click again. It's quite simple once you get the hang of it.

I just bought a Mondaine travel alarm pocket watch. Instructions say the crown has 3 positions. 1> Home normal for a quartz watch. 2> Pull out 1/2 way to set alarm. 3> Pull out all way to set time. My...

It seems like your watch has a little short stem and that's why it has only 2 positions. This does not affect battery in any way, nor the timekeeping.
The only downside of this is that you can accidentaly reset alarm time without knowing it as your watch crown is in permanent 1/2 way position.
If you are happy with that - keep your watch.
