You may have aproblem withthe venting. Make sure the the fan can blow freely through and out the vent. If this gets parially blocked it cuts down the air flow and will make the dryer run too hot and keep the burner off. The other thing taht it could be is the temperature sensor that turns the gas burner on and off. Sometimes they will go bad and not let the burner stay on long enough to heat properly.
